Build your own comparison page before competitors do
People search "Notion vs Confluence" before buying either one. That comparison search happens at the bottom of the funnel. The person has narrowed down to two options and is making a final decision.
If you don't have a page for that search, someone else does. A review site, a competitor, or a random blog post. And you have no control over what it says.
Build your own comparison pages. Be honest about where you're stronger and where the competitor has advantages. Readers aren't stupid. A page that says you win on every single feature is a page nobody trusts.
The format that works: a clear feature comparison table, followed by a few paragraphs about who each product is best for. "Choose us if you need X. Choose them if you need Y." This honesty converts because it builds trust with the exact people who are your best fit.
Identify your top 3 competitors. Create a "[You] vs [Competitor]" page for each. Be honest about tradeoffs. Target the exact search query as the page title.
